and Archives. To request a copy of the pension application, please
follow these instructions:
After searching the Confederate Pension Index, simply e-mail your request to:
archinfo@tsl.state.tx.us
Due to the high demand for photocopies, they
ask you to please limit each request to no more than 10 pension applications per
week. Be sure to include the Pensioner's Name, Pension Number (or Rejected
or Home designation), as well as your own name and complete mailing address.
Please
allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery of your copies. Please do not request copies of
applications that have been identified as missing.
Photocopies are invoiced at $.10 per page for letter- and legal-sized copies,
plus postage. Ledger-sized paper is $.50 per page, plus postage. There is a
$1.00 minimum charge and an invoice will be sent with your copies from the Texas
State Library and Archives Commission.
